submitted by Linnea H. - |Recommended: YesNice apartment, responsive staff, noisy neighborhood — Apartment is in good condition with good quality appliances and features. Maintenance staff is very responsive most of the work orders I submitted were completed within 24 hrs. Parking in the neighborhood can be a hassle, especially late at night and on the weekends - I'd say 6x out of 10 I can find a spot close by. The building tenets are quiet but the frats are VERY loud and disruptive, and Langdon St is trashy - honestly, those are the only issues with living at the Morgan House, at least for me. If you don't mind the noise and mess, the location and proximity to campus downtown everything can't be beat. I'd still recommend, even though I wish the building was on a different street far far away from the frats.

submitted by Joey S. - |Recommended: YesCozy place close to the capitol — It’s spacious with extremely friendly and professional staff. The walls are a little thin though.

They know people are likely only here for a year and that they can get away with substandard service for a high price. The maintenance person is friendly and has come up with some interesting solutions to our apartments multitude of issues, but is not equipped with the tools, parts, and training by their employer needed to manage a property like this. To be fair though, Steve Brown is mostly on par with every other campus area property management company, par being the lowest level of service and decency allowed within the law.

StevenBrown apartments also renovated my room without notifying me. I was not made aware of this change until move-in day. The apartment looks different from when we toured and agreed to sign the lease. The grounds are clean but the appearance is nothing to brag about. The grass on the front lawn is all dead, but a simple sprinkler would fix it up

submitted by Allison H. - |Recommended: YesLovely and Spacious — It is a beautiful and spacious place with a decorative fireplace. It is between the Edgewater Hotel and two fraternities so it can be a bit loud at times, especially weekends but overall it is a wonderful place
submitted by Kyu C. - |Recommended: YesDecent — It’s a nice area but trying to find parking is hard sometimes especially on weekends
submitted by Kevin G. - |Recommended: YesA great location to live, the apartment is nice. — Living at the Morgan House has been great The staff for SBA is what makes it great for me in case I need to contact them about anything. I like the location of the Morgan House the most because of it being by the lake.

The biggest flaw is that there is no parking for the building, though this is not uncommon for Madison. Steve Brown staff are always so friendly and helpful, including Maintenance, who respond quickly. Our unit is nice. Small -especially the bathroom and kitchen- but nice, and everything works. We had issues with our CO detector and heating, but maintenance fixed them immediately. I also think the walls here are rather thick we hardly ever hear our neighbors when we're home. Overall, I'd recommend the Morgan House, especially if you have a small dog. There's a nice grassy lawn in the front and back for letting them out.
submitted by Caitlin O. - |Recommended: YesAdequate apartments — I would say a nice apartment but very expensive and doesn't have parking for a good price which sucks because parking on the street is near impossible some nights.
submitted by Jessica P. - |Recommended: YesMorgan House — I really love living at Morgan House My apartment is spacious and comfortable, and is well-maintained. I had one maintenance issue, but the SBA staff was very accommodating and helpful for getting it fixed I have recommended this apartment complex to friends looking for housing for the 2018-2019 year.
